Jayme Sickert, our pastor,  is originally from Brazil.  He grew up in Indiana, and graduated from Covenant College in Lookout Mt., GA, where he met his wife Mary Beth.  They have been married 43 years and have three children and four grandchildren.  He is a graduate of Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO.  His previous pastorates have been in Greensboro, NC, Myrtle Beach, SC, Greenville, SC, and in Clinton, SC.  He also served as Director of Church Relations for the denomination’s Mission to North America agency, then went into the area of church finance.  Jayme served as Interim Pastor at Christ Presbyterian beginning in August, 2010, until the congregation unanimously called him as Pastor in December, 2010.  He brings leadership, experience, and enthusiasm to our church!
