Story of our New Land and Building

 

We began worship in the cafeteria of White Oak Elementary School, complete with orange plastic chairs, a noisy ice cream machine and a friendly large cockroach who kept everyone looking up during a sermon. After three years we leased and fully renovated the commercial space at White Oak Shopping Center. In 2006 a building and land team was organized with the goal of securing land and designing a building. In 2007 we purchased land on Shenandoah Blvd, and a site plan was presented to the congregation early in 2008. In the summer of 2009, God provided a way for our church to share space with Christ the King Church. It is our goal to use this time to make progress on paying off our land and moving toward building our new facility.
